1. I think it's fascinating that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan think America is no longer great, but rather, is a country in decline. Never thought I'd see the day a Republican would diss America.
Rmoney made a speech that implied that President Obama is going to remove "in God we trust" from the nation's currency.
This is what he has to do in order to fire up the GOP base-- make batshit crazy attacks? That is about as well-founded a thing to say as it would be to charge that Mittens is going to reduce unemployment by executing everyone who hasn't had a job for 100 weeks.
Is the Mitt Romney campaign being run by Sarah Palin? How clueless are these people? (no answer is necessary) When is someone going to tell "the handlers" that every time Queen Ann opens her mouth it sets the campaign back about two centuries – a century more than her idiotic husband manages to do when he speaks.
"Mitt and I do recognize that we have not had a financial struggle in our lives," Ann Romney said in an interview on Meet the Press Sunday. "But I want people to believe in their hearts that we know what it is like to struggle. And our struggles have not been financial, but they've been with health and with difficulties in different things in life."
ok, not the worst thing the Queen has ever said, but still pretty calculating, terribly insincere, and as usual for the Romneys, condescending. I would think having $100 million in the savings account would allow for the best health care her allowance could buy. And it must have been a real pain to figure out how to tie Seamus to the roof. But as always Queen Ann doesn't let us down – she just couldn't help herself:
"I really think that those people that try and minimize the — the feeling and the connection we have with the American people … are trying to divide Americans based on who has money and who was able to achieve success and who does not have as much.".
From YOU PEOPLE Queen Ann has evolved to THOSE PEOPLE. At least she is getting a bit more encompassing of the lowly and unappreciative American public. If only those stupid middle and lower class folks could see just how compassionate the Romneys and their GOP friends at Nascar, the NFL and chair factories really are! After all, some of Ann and Mitt's compassion includes the very things those (and you!) people want – taking away basic health care services for low-income women by defunding Planned Parenthood, ending low interest student loans (borrow from your rich parents!), increasing taxes to pay for tax cuts to the "job creators," privatizing (or voucherizing) Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. And that is just the tip of Ann Romney's $165 manicured nails. Don't YOU PEOPLE see how compassionate the struggling un-rich Romneys are?
Queen Ann summed up all of the burdens the just-like-you-and-me Romneys had to bear during her address at the Nuremberg Rally Tampa Convention 2 weeks ago:
Ann Romney called her life with Mitt a "real marriage" that began by eating "a lot of pasta and tuna fish."
because all the fake marriages of the middle class began by eating Filet Mignon, Truffles and Beluga caviar.
What a fucking bitch

Michael Stipe Vs Fox News
Michael Stipe: "Losing My Religion" was used in the Fox News coverage of the Democratic National Convention last night. R.E.M. today, through its music publisher, Warner-Tamerlane Music, demanded that Fox News cease and desist from continuing its unlicensed and unauthorized use of the song. Michael Stipe said, "We have little or no respect for their puff adder brand of reportage. Our music does not belong there."
The Uncanny Gaffe Machine 3000:
MITT ROMNEY: Well, I want to maintain defense spending at the current level of the GDP. I don't want to keep bringing it down as the president's doing. This sequestration idea of the White House, which is cutting our defense, I think is an extraordinary miscalculation in the wrong direction.
DAVID GREGORY: Republican leaders agreed to that deal to the extend the debt ceiling.
MITT ROMNEY: And that's a big mistake. I thought it was a mistake on the part of the White House to propose it. I think it was a mistake for Republicans to go along with it.
Paul Ryan voted for the debt deal that called for cuts in defense spending. Whoops!
